WHY to visit Zoo Brno:
The Brno City Zoological Garden is situated on 65 hectares of forested slopeson of the Mount Monk - the outskirts of the Moravian metropolis Brno. Zoo Brno was opened to general public in 1953 and in the center of Brno (in historical rooms of the old Town Hall) you can find the Permanent Aquaristic Exhibition too.
- The tiger rocks – modern expositon which combines an interesting opportunity to observe Sumatra tigers and Ceylon leopards with the possiblity of refreshments. Large enclosures can boast wonderful waterfalls,stream and small lakes. Tigers can be seen from the covered gazebo and leopards from the cave built from the man-made rocks.
- Beringia – present the residents of Nordic area along the both sides of Bering Strait. The pearl of this area is enclosure of Canadian wolves.
- The replica of the log cabin of Chief Haida Indian tribe - Replika srubu náčelníka indiánského kmene Haida – the demonstration of Haida culture and view of Canadian wolves
- African Safari - at the highest point of the zoo, looks like vaste savanna´s enclosure with the large pond reminding the watering hole in the natural style
